Graduation 2011

Gerald Gordon
Gerald Endicott Gordon graduated from Pike Township High School during a June 2, 2011 ceremony held on the Indiana State Fair Grounds at the Pepsi Coliseum. He is the son of Kay (Hinton) and Marc Gordon of Indianapolis, Ind., and the grandson of Bettye Marvel and the late Gail Hendrix of Mount Vernon. Gerald is enrolled to attend Trine University, Angola, Ind. this fall.
Family members attending the event from Mount Vernon were “Momo” Bettye Marvel; Aunt Jill Bates and cousins Julie, Joanna and Jordan Bates. Other family members attending were Uncle Tod Hinton, of Indianapolis; sister Amy (Chase) Foor and husband Josh of Noblesville, Ind.; and sister Sarah Gordon and son, Nathan of Fishers, Ind. Friday, June 2nd, family members gathered at LePeeps for a celebatory brunch with Gerald.

Megan Erbacher

Megan E. Erbacher has been named to the 2011 Indiana University spring dean’s list. Megan graduated May 7, 2011 from the IU School of Journalism with an additional double minor in Psychology and Music Appreciation. She is currently working on the Progress 2011 Edition for the Evansville Courier & Press. She is the daughter of Stephanie and Jerry Erbacher of Mount Vernon. Dean’s list designation is give to students who achieve a GPA higher than 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
