Lady 'Cats on a roll coming to season's end

Mount Vernon’s Girls Basketball Team is winding up its season on winning notes. The
girls beat Harrison Thursday night 54-49 and stomped Tell City 52-23 Saturday.
Thursday night, they will face Memorial for their final game of the season in what
promises to be a close matchup.
Thursday night, good ball movement and making shots fall was part of what allowed
them to get out to a five-point lead for the win. Down the stretch, Harrison was also
plagued by sloppy play, turnovers and missed shots.
