• Sammie is a 7-month-old female, lab/pit mix. She is energetic and loves to play with toys. Chasing a ball is one of her favorite things to do. She knows “sit” and is learning “off,” “kennel” and “down.”

• Vera is 1-year-old, female, black domestic cat. She is spayed and up to date on her shots.

• Solo is a 9-month-old, male, pit bull mix. He is friendly. He likes to be petted and likes to chase toys. He knows how to sit and is learning other basic commands.

• Comet is a young, playful, 2-month-old female kitten. She is from a large litter of all black and tortie kittens.
This is a great opportunity to adopt two cats who will play and sleep together and keep each other company. There is a discount applied when adopting more than one animal.

Pet Parade
Attention all Animal Lovers. Now is the time to start planning for your entry in the Posey Humane Society Pet Parade on Saturday morning, Sept. 10, as part of this year’s River Days celebration. There will be awards for the Best Float, Cutest Animal Costume and one for the Best Theme for the animal and their human.
