Ruby Poole, 85

Ruby (Turner) Poole, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012 at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 28, 1926 in Mount Vernon to Israel and Daisy (Russell) Turner.
Ruby is survived by her sons, Steve Hanmore of Mount Vernon, Rev. Theron Jr. Hanmore of Jefferson City, Mo.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Theron Hanmore Sr.; her second husband, Louis Poole; brothers, William, Oscar and Gerald Turner; and sisters, Mary Alldredge, Martha Carroll and Betty Walker.
Funeral service was Saturday, Feb. 18 at Schneider Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Burial was in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
