School Vouchers

What are your thoughts on Indiana lawmakers' upcoming vote on school vouchers? Lawmakers who support the bill say school vouchers will give low to moderate income families the opportunity to send their children to private or charter schools by use of school vouchers — money public funding that is used to pay for public schools, which would follow a child if he or she went to a private school. However, opponents of the bill say the school vouchers will weigh heavily on public schools and their budgets.
