Sports Briefs - Part and Recreation Basketball

Registrations are underway for boys and girls Parks and Recreation youth basketball. There will be a second and third grade boys league and girls league, and a fourth and fifth grade boys and girls league. The cost is $45 per participant; $15 for a second child. Registrations are due Friday, Oct. 28. Sign up at the Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation Department, or mail form in to P.O. Box 324. Registration forms can be downloaded at  www.mountvernon.in.gov.
