Three Mount Vernon residents were arrested after a routine traffic stop turned into a drug bust.
On Sunday, Oct. 9 at 10:35 p.m., police pulled over a maroon Dodge Intrepid at Fourth and Locust streets in Mount Vernon for driving left of center.
The driver, Troy D. Montgomery was in the vehicle with Susan M. Potts and Scott A. Beste.
According to a police report from the Indiana State Police, the vehicle was not registered or insured and the driver, Montgomery, had a suspended license.
