Charles and Stefanie Seifert of Mount Vernon announce the birth of their son, Ryan Charles Seifert.
He was born April 30, 2011, at 6:08 a.m. at the Women’s Hospital.
Ryan weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.
He was welcomed home by sisters Hannah, 5, and Sarah, 2.
He is the grandson of Sandra Torzewski of Evansville and the late Steven Torzewski, and Kim and Carol Seifert of Mount Vernon. He is the great-grandson of Marilyn Seifert, Patricia Wolf, and Arley and Helen Stevens.

Matt and Carrie Staib of Lawrenceville, Ga., announce the birth of their daughter Olivia Cecile Staib. Olivia was born Feb. 11, 2011 at Gwinnett Medical in Lawrenceville, Ga. She was welcomed home by sister Haylee Marie, 8. Olivia is the daughter of Woody and Theresa McFadin of Mount Vernon; and Ginny Staib of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Frederick Staib of Collingswood, N.J.

Kurtis and Sarah Palm announce the birth of their first daughter, Bella Rae Palm. Bella was born at 4:04 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Mich. She weighed 6 pound, 6.8 ounces and was 19-inches-long.
Her maternal grandparents are Thomas and Paulette Ertel of Mount Vernon. Her parental grandparents are Terry and Rhonda Palm and Debbie and David Berry, both of Ipava, Ill.
She is the great-granddaughter of Marilyn and Harold Palm, Carol and Gene Miller, both of Ipava, Ill., and Margaret Brands of Buffalo, N.Y.

Michael and Jennifer Opitz announce the birth of their son, Zachary Arthur Opitz. Zachary was born Feb. 8, 2011 at 11:52 a.m. at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Birth Center in Wauwatosa, Wisc. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 ¼ inches long.
Zachary was welcomed home by big brothers Nicholas, 13, Jacob, 12 and Lucas, 1.
Zachary is the grandson of John and Lilly Post of Mount Vernon; and Ina Opitz and the late Wolfgang Opitz of Berlin, Germany.
