There will be next-generation versions of Respawn Entertainment’s futuristic battle royale game, Apex Legends, coming to consoles, the company has said. A lot of new features will be added when the update comes out tomorrow, including native 4K output for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The update will also bring a lot more functionality.
The well-known FPS game will now be available in 4K resolution, the game’s developer said in a recent blog post, along with announcing a new event called Warriors.
How do I update the Apex Legends game
PS5 owners who already have the game Apex Legends installed can go to the Game Hub and press the “Options” button to see a dropdown list. Choose “Select Version” from the menu. Then, you can choose to download the new PS5 version. After that, you can delete the PlayStation 4 version to free up space on your hard drive. All of the game’s saves will be available, and the progress you made will carry over as well.
But if you don’t already have the game, you’ll have to go to the “Your Collection” tab of the Game Library on your PS5 dashboard. Here, Apex Legends will show up in the list of games that you can play, When asked, users can choose the PS5 version to get the updated version for the next-generation consoles when they get the message.
It’s also been announced that there will be a special 9v9 mode called Control for a limited time.
