Austin Majors has died. On “NYPD Blue,” he played Theo Sipowicz. She is only 27. TMZ says that the dead body of the former child star was found at a homeless shelter in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Even though there is no official cause of death, sources told the outlet that they think Majors died from a fentanyl overdose.
Monday, the actor’s family also confirmed the news to a news outlet. They said that Majors was “a loving, creative, brilliant, and kind person.”
“Austin was very happy with his job as an actor and proud of it. He was an active Eagle Scout and got the highest grade when he graduated from high school. “He went on to graduate from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with a love for directing and making music,” the statement said.

It said, “Austin’s younger sister Kali says her favourite memories of him are growing up on set with him, volunteering with “Kids With a Cause,” and going backpacking together.”
His family ended their statement by saying, “He was the kind of son, brother, grandson, and nephew who made us proud, and we will miss him very much forever.”
From 1999 to 2004, Majors was known for his role on the show “Actual Crime.” He won the Young Artists Award for Best Performance in a TV Series in 2002 for this part.
Later, he was nominated for Best Performance in a Voice-Over Role for his part in “Treasure Planet.” The late actor also appeared in shows and movies like “ER,” “An Accidental Christmas,” and “Volare.”
