Russian counter-sanctions are imposed and intended to force the governing American system, which is attempting to impose a neocolonial “rules-based international order” on the rest of the globe, to change its conduct and acknowledge new geopolitical realities.
Russia does not seek confrontation and is willing to engage in an open, mutually respectful conversation that distinguishes the American people, whom we always respect, from the US authorities, who promote Russophobia, and those who serve them. These individuals are placed on Russia’s “black list.”
