My Liberation Notes, Netflix’s latest K-drama series, has received its first official trailer.
The characters are seen battling with their personal challenges in the brand-new teaser. “Why do you drink every day?” Yeom Mi-jung (Arthdal Chronicles’ Kim Ji-won) asks Mr. Gu (D.P.’s Son Seok-goo) as he walks into a room crowded with empty soju bottles. Do you want to do something other than drink?”
Meanwhile, Yeom Ki-jung (Lee El from Black) and Yeom Chang-hee (Lee Min-ki from The Beauty Inside) ponder on their difficulties in developing love connections. The former then decides to “fall in love with anyone,” while the latter confesses his dissatisfaction with his most recent split.
When will My Liberation Notes season 1 be available on Netflix?
On Saturday, April 9th, 2022, the first episode of My Liberation Notes will be released on Netflix.
A total of 16 episodes will be released over the course of eight weeks, with new episodes released every Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, May 29th, 2022, the final episode will be released.
Each episode will last approximately 60 minutes.
Cast of My Liberation Notes
Yeom Ki Jung, the oldest sister, will be played by Lee El. Lee is well recognised for her role as Lee Byung Hun’s tragic love interest in the film Inside Men (2015), as well as minor roles in the TV shows Monster (2016) and Goblin (2016). (2016).
Yeom Chang Hee will be played by Lee Min Ki. Ki is a singer, model, and actor. In 2005, he made his TV debut in the drama Taereung National Village. He has since starred in a number of films and dramas, including Oh My Ladylord (2021), The Beauty Inside (2018), Shoot My Heart (2015), and Spellbound (2011).
Plot of My Liberation Notes
Three siblings and a stranger are followed in My Liberation Notes.
Yeom Ki Jung, the eldest sibling, has a short fuse. Because of her job, she spends a lot of time going from Seoul to her home in Sanpo Village. Her life seemed to be full of gripes. She is currently in a stage of life where she desires to fall in love and have a satisfying relationship.
Yeom Chang Hee, the family’s middle kid, wishes to flee his family’s home. He, on the other hand, has no ambitions or dreams to guide him in the direction he should take. He is the most despised member in the family.
The youngest child is Yeom Mi Jung. She wishes to be free of her mundane existence, but her introverted and shy attitude prevents her from doing so. She has a sense of loneliness and emptiness in her life. That is, until she decides to approach Mr.Goo, a mystery stranger who lives in her neighborhood.
