Cheer, Netflix’s original sports docuseries, has enthralled viewers all around the world. In January 2022, the first two volumes of the series were completed, depicting the hardships and triumphs of the Navarro College Cheer Team as they prepare for the National Cheerleading Championship in Daytona.
Cheer will almost certainly be renewed for a third season, based on its IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes ratings. However, there is currently no official word on Cheer Season 3, but we are far too excited to miss it.
Here’s all we know about Season 3 of this popular Netflix show thus far:
When will Cheer’s third season premiere?
Since the show’s creator, Greg Whitely, has been filming at Navarro College for a number of years, season three of Cheer is rumoured to be in the works. If this is right, the third instalment will be released in January 2023, following in the footsteps of its predecessors; nonetheless, fans may expect an earlier release.
The sitcom has yet to be renewed for a second season, so this is only a guess. We are hopeful, though, that there will be more in store for the fans.

When will the third season of Cheer be released?
Season three of Cheer is rumoured to be in the works, as the show’s creator, Greg Whitely, has been filming at Navarro College for a few years. If this is the case, the third instalment will be released in January 2023, or fans may be able to anticipate an earlier release.
This is simply a guess at this moment, as the series has yet to be renewed for another season. However, we are confident that the fans will be treated to more in the future.
All past episodes of Cheer are available to watch on Netflix, the world’s largest streaming service. There are already 15 episodes from the previous two seasons, and it is unclear whether season three will have 6 or 8 episodes. Soon, additional information on Cheer Season 3 will be available here. Keep an eye out for updates.
What will the plot of Cheer Season 3 be about?
Season three will pick up following the events of season two of Cheer. As a result, prepare to welcome a new cast and new competitions. The obstacles that Navarro College and their competitors, Trinity Valley Community College, faced on their route to NCC were the focus of the previous seasons. Season two was a tremendous hit with the audience, and we anticipate that season three will be just as entertaining as the previous instalments.
Who will appear in Season 3 of Cheer?
If the sports television series is picked up, it will be wonderful to see many of our favourite characters return. Gabi Butter says she has one more year of junior high school left, so she will most likely return. Morgan Simianer’s trip unfortunately comes to an end with the final season, as she is hesitant to return to Navarro. Simianer, on the other hand, stated she had a terrific time during the concert. The docuseries will continue to feature Maddy Brum, Monica Aldama, and Shannon Woosley, while Cassadee Dunlap is less thrilled about the possibility of a third season because she has other plans. Dunlap is the only one who has left, and the opposing team’s Jada Wooden is also hesitant to sign on the dotted line.
While working on a football series called Last Chance, Whitely had the concept for Cheer. U. Whiteley’s remarkable works have earned him acclaim among spectators. We anticipate seeing more of his work in the future.

Season 3 will almost certainly see Navarro College’s return to Daytona Beach in 2022, if the team chooses to compete there again.
