Mount Vernon boys first, girls second at Gibson Southern

The Mount Vernon boys track team picked up a win and the girls were second in a three-team meet on Thursday that included Wood Memorial.

Winning events for the boys were Austin Peerman, who won the 100 and 200-meter dashes.

Kaleb Grabert won the 110 and 300-meter hurdles. Cam Maier won the pole vault. Micah Keller won the 3200-meter run. Noah Rapp, Anthony Robles, Cade Latshaw and Johnathon West won the 3200-meter relay. Grabert, Latshaw, Peerman and West won the 1600-meter relay and Maier, Gage Pence, Grabert and Peerman won the 400-meter relay.
