Wrestlers fall short at Semi-State

Nate Morgan and Luke McGennis competed at the Semi-State Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at the Ford Center in Evansville, with both falling short of the ultimate goal, a trip to State.

In the 126-pound class, Nate Morgan faced off with Seth Rohrbach of West Vigo.

Rohrbach defeated Morgan in the opening round by 7-2 decision.

Morgan finished the year with a 27-11 record.

In the 170-pound class, Luke McGennis wrestled Brigham Kleinhenz of Columbus North.

Kleinhenz defeated McGennis by 15-3 major decision.

McGennis finishes with a 30-7 record on the season.
