Release Date for Cursed Season 2
Early in 2022, Cursed Season 2 is anticipated. On July 17, 2020, Netflix released Cursed Season 1, and on July 17, 2020, Netflix will also release Cursed Season 2.
Zetna Fuentes, Daniel Nettheim, Jon East, and Sarah O’Gorman directed the first season of Cursed. Nimue, Cursed, Alone, The Red Lake, The Joining, Festa and Moreii, Bring Us in Good Ale, The Key Queen, Poisons, and The Sacrifice are the 10 episodes of Cursed Season 1.
Maybe there will be ten episodes in Cursed Season 2, and like Season 1, each one will have a distinctive and varied title.
Has Cursed’s Season 2 been shelved?
Despite the intriguing concept, Cursed was probably cancelled because it fell short of expectations and did not garner as much attention as their other efforts. On Rotten Tomatoes, the series has received a 67 percent score based on critic reviews and a 53 percent score based on market evaluations, indicating mixed reviews. On the other hand, Cursed’s cancellation surprised viewers because it had generated some excitement before its debut. It seemed like a logical choice to bring in Langford, a well-known performer from Netflix’s hit teen drama 13 Reasons Why, to the ensemble as Lady of the Lake. After the book’s release, speculation of a Merlin sequel started. Despite all the hype, Cursed only spent a short period in the top 10 charts on the platform, and a sequel currently looks improbable.
Following the Cursed discovery, many ardent fans have taken to social media to demand that the show be picked up by a different social media site, using the hashtag #SavedCursed. Considering that the cast members are currently free to explore other endeavours, a comeback seems doubtful. While Wheeler teased that another book might be in the works in an Instagram post on July 9, some cast members have expressed their thankfulness for merely being a part of Cursed on social media.
Did viewers like the show?
Cursed is still one of the best Netflix programmes, even though it cannot be compared to titles like The Last Kingdom and Game of Thrones. It was the third most watched TV show on Netflix in July and had ratings of 5.8 on IMDb and 67% on Rotten Tomatoes.

People all over the world are eagerly awaiting the release of the second season following the success of the first season. However, there hasn’t been any official word from the production crew confirming that season 2 has started filming or will shortly start.
As a result, it was revealed in July 2021 that the show had been cancelled after one season.
“Season 1 was merely the beginning of the tremendous journey that will be followed in the second season of the show,” said the show’s actress Katherine Langford in an interview.
