The manga only has two finished story arcs, both of which were adapted for season 1 and the movie, respectively. This presents the only potential issue.
The romance between Hiiragi and Shizusumi will supposedly be the subject of a third arc, but as the manga is still in production, it might be some time before this is turned into a second anime season.
Fans shouldn’t anticipate the season 2 premiere until at least the summer of 2022, if not 2023, based on the current manga publishing schedule and the production timetable from prior Given titles.
