People came from all over the world to California in pursuit of gold in the 1840s. Prospectors with no name went west in the hopes of striking it rich, and while it may appear that all the gold has been dug up, there are still plenty of people with the excavator spirit out there.
In the hit reality TV series “Gold Rush,” Discovery follows some of these modern-day gold diggers. They have a lot more tools at their disposal in the twenty-first century than just a pickaxe and a tin plate. Parker Schnabel, Rick Ness, and Tony Beets, among others, journey into seemingly barren terrain with enormous crews in an attempt to improve their fortunes.
People can’t seem to get enough of it, as the battle for wealth is fraught with intrigue. There’s only so much gold in the world, and these workers will keep digging for it as long as it’s there. Season 12 hasn’t been given the green light yet, but given the show’s tremendous popularity, it’s a safe bet that it will be announced sooner or later. Here’s all we know about Season 12 of “Gold Rush” so far.
When will Gold Rush season 12 be release?
Most seasons have regularly premiered in the fall, according to historical trends. Even in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, the crews were able to film Season 11 despite the fact that both miners and film teams were able to enter Canada. As a result, the show was able to stay on schedule and premiere on October 23, 2020. Season 12 has shown to be the same.
Despite the fact that the virus is still raging and several concerts have been delayed, the intrepid miners of “Gold Rush” couldn’t be stopped. Miners had been declared critical workers throughout this (through Hecla Mining Company), therefore even if tougher lockdowns had been implemented, the “Gold Rush” miners would have been unaffected. The film crew, on the other hand, is a different storey, but it appears that they got the job done; “Gold Rush” Season 12 launched on September 24 as planned.
Who is in the 12th season of Gold Rush’s cast?
The main miners from previous years are set to return. Tony Beets and Rick Ness joined the series during the sophomore season, while Parker Schnabel, Fred Dodge, and Chris Doumitt have been with it since the beginning. They’ve all featured on the programme on a regular basis over the years, and Shnabel and Beets, in particular, appear to be vying for larger parts in Season 12.
It appears like Ness will be accompanied on his impending journey. Ness’ girlfriend, Leese M. Arie, announced on Facebook on January 27, 2021 that she would be joining Ness in Canada this summer. It’s unknown whether Ness will put her to work or if she’ll largely just hang out, but once the new season airs a few more episodes, all of the answers should be revealed.
What is the location for the 12th season of Gold Rush?
Arie’s Facebook post also provides us a fair sense of where the various miners are likely to travel this time. Her tweet has a number of hashtags, the most notable of which are “#goodbyewisconsin” and “#hellocanada.” It should come as no surprise to fans, as the crews have gone up to the Great White North in pursuit of riches in the past few seasons, with Season 11 seeing them journey to Yukon.
Because Canada is such a large country, it’s unknown where the teams will be able to dig. All of this should be exposed in the following months when the miners begin their new tasks. Since the cast was forced to leave Alaska owing to environmental issues, Canada has proven to be fertile terrain for them. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and there’s still enough of gold to be found around the country.
