Gotham Knights Release Date

Gotham Knights releases on October 25, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
WB Games Montreal has officially confirmed the release date for its next DC superhero game, Gotham Knights, after a lot of speculations and conjecture. Even though businesses have been responding to the ongoing worldwide epidemic for a few years, working remotely still presents a number of difficulties. As a result, production cycles have been in constant change, resulting in a number of games being delayed in order to allow companies additional time to iron out bugs. Square Enix recently stated that their original IP Forspoken would be delayed for five months instead of being released in the spring.
Indeed, Warner Bros. has a number of unanswered questions about its planned games, particularly the open-world Hogwarts Legacy, which continues to fly under the radar to the point that various reports say it will be delayed. WB’s planned DC games, which were set to debut in 2022, have also piqued fans’ interest. While Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been pushed out to 2023, Gotham Knights has officially stated when fans will be able to purchase the game. After an initial postponement from 2021, WB Games Montreal has now confirmed that Gotham Knights will be released in 2022. The game’s release date has been confirmed as October 25, 2022, according to an official Tweet from the Gotham Knights account. Gotham Knights was a game that was likely influenced by the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, with developers working remotely and needing extra time to produce the greatest possible experience for fans. It was first unveiled at the DC Fandom digital event in 2020.

Despite the fact that the Tweet didn’t offer any new information other than the release date, with only a few months until Gotham Knights hits stores, fans can expect plenty of news and surprises sooner rather than later. In fact, eagle-eyed Steam users observed a special beta version of Gotham Knights surfaced on the service, implying that a play test is on the way. The unannounced app was swiftly taken down, but not before one fan was able to access and play it.

Many speculations about Gotham Knights continue to circulate, including the possibility of a special tie-in comic from Court of Owl authors Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. While unofficial, the notion began to circulate after artist Greg Capullo tweeted that he was working on a project including well-known DC characters. Nightwing, Batgirl, and another figure in the background all look to be dressed in Gotham Knights-style uniforms in the supplied artwork. To assist advertise and build enthusiasm for the game’s debut, fans naturally began to relate the artwork to a comic-tie in with Gotham Knights.
