Detective Sergeant Emer Berry is entrusted with tracking down diamonds and cocaine linked to a series of terrorist incidents in the film Hidden Assets. The Brannigans, a dynasty and a powerful family, pay a large fee to a drug dealer to produce all of the required mayhem, as long as they profit financially from it.
Who knows if the two investigators will be successful in solving the case. Hidden Assets’ first season consists of six episodes, which are currently accessible to watch on BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom. In the United States, it will be broadcast on Acorn TV.
The series is set in Ireland and was written by Peter McKenna and Morna Regan and directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan. Morna was just included to the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist, a list of up-and-coming performers. According to the schedule, the sixth and last episode of the six-part thriller series will air in 2022. Hidden Assets Season 1 premiered on RTE on November 7, 2021, and just two episodes have been released so far, with the remainder airing every Sunday at 9.30 p.m. The show had an 8.2/10 rating, demonstrating that this isn’t the first time RTE has put out a great drama.

Will the show get picked up for a second season? Given the positive reviewers and reviews it is receiving, we wouldn’t be wrong in speculating on its renewal. The series renewal has not to be announced by RTE, although it is expected to happen soon. The show is expected to premiere around 2022 or 2023.
The Season 2 Plot of Hidden Assets So, what occurs?
The play’s central theme is the family’s power and the repercussions of greed. In the first episode of the crime series, Angeline Ball, an Irish investigator, busts a drug dealer. The fact that he had a bag of rough-cut diamonds in his possession, which had previously been linked to an explosion in Belgium, adds to the mystery. While investigating this case, Angelina and the other investigators realise that the diamonds are a form of payment. Angelina Ball and Wouter Hendricx must work together to solve the crime because it is being led by Belgian officials. A wealthy family was responsible for the blast. The Branigans of Ireland, while coming from an aristocratic family in Antwerp, have more influence than they appear to have. Angelina Ball, Wouter, and The CAB must avoid supporting terrorists as quickly as possible.
