After an intense eight-week experiment that included two trial marriages, the cast of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On officially wrapped up the first season on April 13 with a finale and a reunion special.
A few of the original couples chose to continue their relationships off-screen, but Jake Cunningham, one of the actors, ended his first marriage and started dating his “trial wife.”
In the Season 1 conclusion, Jake ended his long-term relationship with April Marie Melohn in favour of continuing his connection with Rae (who had already split up with her first partner, Zay Wilson, in the eighth episode).
When the veteran gave Rae a plane ticket to anywhere in the world following the event, fans wondered if the couple still stayed together.
On April 13, a shocking update from Jake and Rae on their relationship status was revealed in the Netflix reunion special.
After leaving the show, Rae disclosed that she is dating a woman.
