Johnny Depp made a surprising cameo Sunday at a Jeff Beck concert in England, fresh after his highly-publicized defamation battle with Amber Heard.
Depp appeared on stage with Beck to play their 2020 song collaboration “Isolation,” a reworking of John Lennon’s 1970 hit, according to numerous videos that have leaked online. Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” were also covered by the duet.
Depp is a well-known guitarist who, along with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry, is a member of the band Hollywood Vampires.
This Depp encounter comes just two days after his $50 million defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard reached its conclusion. The jury will meet again next week to continue their deliberations.

Depp is suing Heard over an op-ed he wrote for the Washington Post in December 2018 regarding her experience as a victim of domestic violence. Depp alleges that the op-ed lost him his job, and he’s determined to disprove Heard’s claims. The suit alleges that the article “depends on the primary premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her,” despite the fact that Heard never addressed Depp by name in the essay. Depp has denied abusing Heard at any point in his life.
The trial began on April 11 in Fairfax, Virginia, and Heard and Depp both testified in the following weeks, alleging abuse from both sides of the aisle.
