Kanye West shares ‘divorce’ post as Kim Kardashian is declared single

Kanye West despises divorce, it’s no secret.

The billionaire rapper, 44, compared divorce to “COVID,” “walking on glass,” “being beat up in the mall,” and one’s “soul being dragged over coals,” among other horrific things, in an Instagram post on Friday.

“Divorce feels like your kids were kidnapped from your control/ Divorce feels like you’ve been shot and traffic is slow/ Divorce feels like heavy breathing/ Divorce feels like granny never got over that cold/ Divorce feels like suffocating/ Barely breathing,” the poem-like meme continues.

It’s unknown whether West wrote the lyrics himself or whether they’re part of a new musical project he’s working on. The rapper’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Page Six.

The eloquent statement comes at a painful time, as West and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, were just declared legally single by a judge less than 48 hours ago.

The reality star will no longer be known as “Kim Kardashian West” as a result of the judge’s decision, and will instead be known by her own famous Kardashian surname.

On Friday, West posted on Instagram about his divorce.

Kardashian didn’t waste any time in updating her social media accounts with the new moniker.

She also said she was doing “so fantastic” in a red carpet interview shortly after the hearing, and she liked a tweet calling her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, “kind,” “funny,” and a man who “treats everyone with respect.”While West looks to be sulking on social media, he appears to be handling the judge’s decision much better in person.

In paparazzi photos shot in Miami on Thursday, the “All of the Lights” rapper was spotted clutching his new muse’s bum seconds before the two boarded a private plane together.

They’ve been linked since February, following West’s breakup with Julia Fox of “Uncut Gems.”

In the meantime, Kardashian has been dating Davidson, 28, since October 20, 2021. After nearly seven years of marriage, she filed for divorce for the first time in February 2021.
