Kingdom Season 3 Release Date, Everything We Know So Far!

Kingdom Season 3 Release Date

It was a big deal because “Kingdom” was Netflix’s first original Korean show. It premiered on January 25, 2019. But the streaming network seemed to have a lot of faith in the action drama, which is why it decided to keep it going for a second season before the first one even came out, like it did with another popular Netflix show, “The Witcher.” Lee Chang (Ju Ji-hoon) is Crown Prince of Joseon, and he wants to avenge his father’s death and figure out what’s making his kingdom sick. The movie is set during the Joseon Dynasty. Korean zombie movie “Train to Busan” inspired “Kingdom.” This movie is brutal and dark, with a lot of intense fighting scenes as the characters face off against zombie hordes over and over.

When “Kingdom” came out, it was an instant hit with both viewers and critics and earned a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It quickly became one of Netflix’s most popular shows. There was a special episode called “Kingdom: Ashin of the North” that came out on Netflix on July 23, 2021, and it talked about Ashin, who was played by Jun Ji-hyun in Season 2. It turns out that fans of the show are still very interested in the story and want to see more. They are hoping that Netflix will show a third season of the zombie drama “Kingdom.”

Those are the things we know about “Kingdom” Season 3.

When will Kingdom season 3 be out?

Some fans are excited about the new season because it will answer many of their questions, including who the mysterious plant seller is. There are more zombies in the city because the new king, Will, turns into a monster as he gets older and is also to blame for them.

Fans love the show’s first two seasons, and Netflix hasn’t said whether or not we’ll get to see season 3. The date could be announced by September 2021. In 2022 or 2023, we might be able to watch the new season of Kingdom.

Do you know if Kingdom is going to be back for season three?

For more than a year now, we haven’t heard any news that Kingdom will be back for a third season on Netflix.

It has made us more confident that Kingdom will be back after we learned that the show will return with a special bonus episode that will focus on the character of Gianna Jun, played by Jun Ji-hyun. Kingdom: Ashin of the North is coming to Netflix on July 23, 2021.

The cast of the third season of Kingdom

Fans of the Koren show “Kingdom” might already know that some characters won’t be back in the next season. This is because they saw the last one.

Even though Ju Ji plays the crown prince, Seo Bi plays Bae Doona, Kim Sung plays Yeong Shin, Ryu Seung plays Cho Hak Ju, and Min Chi Rok plays Park Byuong, we still get to see them. Season 2’s Jun Ji Hyun will also reprise his role.

Season 3: The plot of Kingdom.

I think that season three will pick up right where season two left off, seven years and three months after the first zombies started to show up.

When things happen in the future, Ashin, the mysterious plant seller, will play a big part. But what her role will be hasn’t been decided on. No, Jun Ji-character hyun’s doesn’t just want to cause chaos in every place she goes! So that China can invade and take over a weak country, or is she trying to spread zombie-ism so that China can do that?

In season three, the new Prince should show up more. There were worms that made him zombie-like when he was little, but now that he’s older, it looks like one of them has moved to his brain.

That doesn’t mean that the prince will turn into a monster, but it’s possible. In his case, the worm has been in his body for a long time, which means the boy could become some kind of zombie/human hybrid instead.

Kim Eun-hee, the writer of Kingdom, said more about the story in a recent interview.

“People like Lee Chang, Seo-bi, and Yeong-shin are all people who chase the plague, hoping it never comes. In season three, I think it would be good to show how they tried to find the source of the plague. We’re thinking about that.”

Related When will Close Enough Season 3 be Available on Netflix?

“During season one, the story was about hunger. During season two, the story was about blood. In season three, if Netflix agrees, I want it to be about resentment. During season two, we learned about the concept of temperature. I think that if the story were to move north, the different ecosystems in the North would give us a clue.”

Walk the Dead won’t be able to do because the Kingdom prequel was able to.

In an interview with Forbes, Kim Eun-hee said that she came up with the idea for the show because she wanted to show people how to do things.

It occurred to her that zombies might be a good way to show how many people died from a mysterious illness in Korea at that time. “Maybe I can show the plague with zombies,” she said.

“It’ll be a very interesting way to show the pain and suffering of the people of that time,” she said. Kingdom: “That’s how I came up with the idea to write it.”
