Season 2 of Love Is Blind was released last month, and the Netflix show paired up a whole bunch of singles via its blind dating pods once again. Which couples are still together now that every episode has aired, including the Love Is Blind Reunion?
The long-awaited season finale streamed today on Friday, February 25th, followed by the Love Is Blind reunion on March 4th, as the series was released in instalments. That is to say, we finally found out which couples got married at the end of the show and which couples stayed together.
Season two began filming in April 2021, as host Vanessa Lachey previously stated, so couples who met on the show are now approaching their one-year anniversaries. How quickly time goes!
Here’s a rundown of which Love Is Blind season two couples married and which ones divorced. Of course, there will be spoilers.
Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely are still happily married.
Jarrette and Mallory Zapata were initially attracted to each other, but the 32-year-old project manager ended up marrying Iyanna, a 27-year-old programme coordinator. Iyanna was first sceptical, given Jarrette’s prior proposal to Mallory, and she stated, “I need someone who wants to be certain about me.” She did, however, accept Jarrette’s proposal, albeit the couple ran into another snag when Mallory and Jarrette met in person.

Even yet, these two got married at the show’s finale, so it was a happy ending for them! Iyanna told Jarrette during their vows, “I feel so at ease with you, and I feel so loved by you, which is something that never happens. I just have the feeling that I’m intended to be here with you. I was built for you, and you were made for me.”
Jarrette answered by saying, “You showed me, Iyanna, that I can be loved the way I want to be loved. “I knew this was something real, something solid, and something that could weather the test of time,” she continued, “since no other lady has accepted me for who I am, warts and all.” And I’m confident that things will only get better. I can’t wait to be with you for the rest of my life.”
The couple claimed they are still blissfully together at the reunion, albeit Iyanna was deeply saddened by the moments between Mallory and Jarrette.
Deepti Vempat and Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee are not married and are not together.
S2 participant Abhishek (aka Shake) drew a lot of criticism from fans early on for his pod approach. Nonetheless, the 33-year-old vet and house DJ hit it off with Deepti, a 31-year-old data analyst, and the two were engaged before meeting in Mexico.
Shake, on the other hand, expressed concerns about commitment and expressed “apprehension” about their first night together. Deepti ended up pulling the plug at the altar when it came to their wedding day. Rather than responding with, “”I hope you understand how much you mean to me and the impact you’ve had on my life,” Deepti told Shake. But I’m afraid I won’t be able to marry you. I’m entitled to someone who knows for sure. So I’m going to choose myself and say no.”
“He’s not the one for me,” Deepti continued, “because if he was, he would make me feel like I was the one, and he never did that.” Shake added, “We’re still good though.”
Deepti called Shake out for his behaviour throughout the experiment during the Love Is Blind Reunion, while everyone else continued telling him to quit voicing such bold ideas from the couch.
Shake also tried to clarify his statements on the show concerning his date’s weight, saying, “If I were to date someone and there was a large weight disparity, it would be very difficult for me to get past that.” It didn’t go down well, to say the least.
Natalie Lee and Shayne Jansen are not married and are not together.
Shayne, a 32-year-old real estate salesperson, and Natalie, a 29-year-old consulting manager, first seemed to click. However, the couple’s problems surfaced during the group’s retreat to Mexico, with both realising that they’re “different people” who behave differently when it comes to discussing their relationship.
To say the least, Natalie and Shayne’s wedding day was a rollercoaster, with Natalie starting the day distraught over an argument with Shayne (plus an adorable heart-to-heart between Natalie and her parents).
Shayne told Natalie at the altar, “I just want you to know how much I care about you. I’ve done it a thousand times. You’re my best buddy, and there’s no one else in the world I’d rather do this with.”
Natalie, on the other hand, had a different opinion, telling Shayne, “I’m so delighted we’ve been on this road together; I believe we’ve both evolved as people who have fallen in love. I know I’ve progressed significantly as a result of your influence, but I don’t believe it. Please accept my heartfelt apologies.” She went on to say to him in hushed tones that they have some “very important issues to work through.”
During the Love Is Blind Reunion, the couple admitted that they did try to date after the programme, but that they were no longer together – and that one dispute after their hen and stag parties was a big part of the reason for that.
“We started dating again a week after our wedding,” Natalie told PEOPLE. “Maybe it’s not dating, because we renewed our engagement. We had been together for a while.”
“At the end of it, I think we realised that we’re very different individuals with very distinct needs and wants that we can’t fulfil for one other,” she says. “After that, we took a communication break to get into a better position.”
Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl are still happily married.
Danielle, 29, and Nick, 36, got engaged extremely early in season two, at the very end of episode one. Before meeting face to face on the Mexico retreat, they bonded over their families, prior romances, and body image.
Nick and Danielle were married in the finale, which was great news! Nick claimed during his appearance on the show, “I’m a happily married man! I’m overjoyed and ecstatic. Because I wasn’t 100 percent sure that Danielle was 100 percent sure, saying yes and agreeing to get married tonight was a game-time choice. But everything turned out as planned, and now I’m a married guy. I’m looking forward to the next 50 years with you.”
“He is my guy and the one I want to spend the rest of my life with, and he feels the same way,” Danielle continued, adding, “I’m so pleased!”
During the Love Is Blind reunion, the couple was still blissfully together, with Nick confessing that he was now the one who got on the tables first during their parties (remember that argument?) Natalie now possessed Nick’s family engagement ring.
Salvador Perez and Mallory Zapata are not married and are not together.
Salvador (aka Sal), a 31-year-old executive assistant, and Mallory, a 32-year-old communications manager, bonded early on over their Mexican roots. Jarrette Jones, a fellow contestant, did propose to Mallory, but she declined and went on to marry Sal. Mallory and Jarrette, on the other hand, ended up conversing a lot after meeting IRL on the retreat. Sal approached Mallory about the conversation, and Mallory confirmed that she still desired to marry Sal.
Mallory spoke her wedding vows to Sal on their wedding day, adding, “You made me feel at ease the instant I heard your voice. “You’ve always made me feel safe and cherished,” she continues, “and you’re a lovely person on the inside and out.” I consider myself fortunate to have you in my life.”
Sal retorted by saying to Mallory, “He said, “I know I couldn’t be standing here with anybody else.” “Becoming acquainted with you and being vulnerable with you has made me a better man.” I adore you, respect you, and admire you for who you are. I pledge to always be my authentic self for you, and I adore you.”
When prompted to say something, though, “”I do,” Sal replied, looking hesitant and concerned. “I cannot.” “I just need more time,” he says, to which Mallory responds, “It’s OK, “as well as wiping away his tears
The couple subsequently opted to remain dating rather than marry, although they admitted that they were not together during the Reunion. Mallory remarked, “I honestly believe we had a great bond as a result of this experiment, although we’re quite different people. I believe that because of the way we communicated or operated, we had a lot of problems because we weren’t communicating properly.” Mal went on to say that he often felt “unheard” during their debates.
Kyle Abrams and Shaina Hurley are not a good match.
Despite the fact that they did not make it to the altar, Shaina and Kyle did appear in the Love Is Blind Reunion to discuss what went wrong. Shaina stated that saying yes to Kyle was a mistake, and that the fact that he used his mother’s engagement ring was a bit of a guilt trip.
Kyle then threw a curve ball into the mix, saying he wished he had worked more for Deepti in the pods because he thought she was fantastic and had a lot of love for her. Wow.
