Ozark Season 4 Part 2
You may recall that when cartel chief Omar Navarro shot and killed Helen as soon as she and the Byrdes arrived at his mansion in Mexico, he exclaimed, “This is a beginning.” So, while Wendy and Marty may never have had their teeth so deeply sunk into their scheme—Wendy working closely with Navarro and Marty attempting to persuade the FBI to take down Navarro’s rivals—it appears that they’re about to face a whole new set of terrors in their now-extremely close relationship with the cartel boss.
Ozark season 4 Part 2 Release Date
On Friday, April 29th, 2022, at 8 a.m. GMT, Netflix UK will release Ozark season 4 part 2.
Season 4 filming began in November 2020 and lasted over a year, with the team wrapping up in October 2021. On January 21, 2022, the first episodes of Season 4 were released on Netflix.
Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Cast
Season 4 of Ozark will feature the following cast members:
- Marty Byrde is played by Jason Bateman.
- Wendy Byrde is played by Laura Linney.
- Ruth Langmore is played by Julia Garner.
- Darlene Snell is played by Lisa Emery.
- Charlotte Byrde is played by Sofia Hublitz.
- Jonah Byrde is played by Skylar Gaertner.
- Camila is played by Veronica Falcón,
- Charles-Ann is played by Ali Stroker.
- Randall Schafer is played by Bruce Davison.
As Ozark reaches its terrifying climax, the fourth season features a slew of returning (and surviving) characters. Jason Bateman, who earned a SAG Award for Best Male Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of Marty Byrde, will reprise his role, as will his onscreen wife Wendy, played by Laura Linney.
Sadly, after his heartbreaking exit in season 3, scene-stealer Tom Pelphrey will not be reprising his role as Wendy’s brother Ben this season. We also don’t expect Janet McTeer to reprise her role as Helen, who died in a devastating, brutal death in season 3’s last moments. Julia Garner, who has been a fan favourite throughout the series, will reprise her role as the indomitable Ruth Langmore.
Two more recurring cast members were added to the programme in June 2021 (via THR): Veronica Falcón and Ali Stroker, who will both appear in. Falcón, who you may recognise from HBO’s Perry Mason, will play Camila, Omar’s sister and a powerful part of the family’s drug operation. Meanwhile, Stroker portrays Charles-Ann, Ruth’s mother’s friend.
Production Begin Ozark Season 4 Part 2
In an August interview with IndieWire, Bateman confirmed that filming will begin in November 2020, with anti-virus precautions in place.
“We’ll start on November 9,” he stated. “Everything is heading in the right direction. We have a lot of advisers on board, and we’re learning a lot from other shows.”
Each season takes four months to write and six months to produce, according to Bateman, who told Collider in April 2020: “I think the fastest we can turn around a whole season, from opening the writes room to having Netflix push it out, is roughly 12 months.” There’s no way to make it go any faster.
