Lauren Graham and her longtime partner, Peter Krause, called it quits after more than ten years together, signalling the end of an era for one Hollywood power couple.
The 55-year-old actress and 56-year-old actor “quietly ended their relationship last year,” according to a rep for the Gilmore Girls star told People. It’s unknown what caused the breakup or why they kept it a secret until now. The actress’ rep has been contacted for comment by ET.
After co-starring as siblings on the NBC dramedy Parenthood for six seasons from 2010 to 2015, Graham and Krause developed a love relationship.
When asked what the future held for the pair at the moment during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2014, Graham struggled to answer.
She remarked, “I never know how to respond to this question.” “I’m not sure what I’m saying. We’re very pleased with our results. ‘Aren’t we married already?’ I feel like I’ve been in Hollywood for close to five years.”
Graham joked about their quarantine condition while filming The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers in Vancouver, Canada, in April 2021 on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“Normally it’s a two-hour trip, and I’d fly home on weekends,” Graham explained. “But because of COVID, I couldn’t do that, and we were separated for about five months, which had never occurred before.”

“As a result, when I returned home, things had changed. I would say that there were more piles.”
While Graham was away, Krause and his then-19-year-old son, Roman, had been living together, and by the time she returned, they had set some new ground rules.
“I think the reentry was more difficult for him because he and his son had really bonded,” Graham laughs. “It felt more like they were a married couple, and I was the one who… ‘We don’t do it that way anymore,’ they said. ‘No, no, no, this is how it works,’ they said.”
