Due to the rapper’s illness, a performance by Post Malone that was set to take place on Saturday night in Boston was abruptly cancelled.
The right side of Austin Richard Post, 27, who performs by his middle name, said he woke up with a cracking sound. He wrote in an Instagram story, “On tour, I often wake up about 4 PM.
Every time he moved or breathed, the pain was “like a searing anguish,” and he was having problems breathing. Sorry, but the pain is too intense and I have to cancel tonight’s performance.
Just moments earlier, the TD Garden had announced that the performance would be cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances,” but that ticket holders should save their originals in case a new date could be found.
On September 17, one week into his “Twelve Carat Tour,” Post Malone lost his balance while performing in St. Louis. He fell through a hole in the platform.
He was examined by medical professionals and then went back to the show. Later, the singer’s management disclosed that the performer had been brought to the hospital with broken ribs, as shown by X-rays.
Malone declared in a video posted on Twitter that “everything’s good” after obtaining pain medication.
