Creator of the quadruple BAFTA-winning television series Stath Lets Flats Jamie Demetriou has partnered with BBC Studios for a number of years to co-develop and co-produce projects.
Demetriou, one of the brightest young comedic talents in the UK, who appears in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Pinocchio, will create the programmes for both BBC Studios and his own production company, People Day Limited.
He is the creator of the critically acclaimed comedy Stath Lets Flats on Channel 4, in which he also appears as a bumbling Greek-Cypriot estate agent in London. The humour has won him four BAFTAs.

He rose to fame thanks to Stath and has since been in Cruella, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, The Afterparty on Apple TV+, and Netflix’s Eurovision, in addition to Barbie and Pinocchio.
Stath Lets Flats, which is now being released to the U.S. market by producer Roughcut TV, is distributed internationally by BBC Studios.
