Rihanna can probably stop saying, “B**ch better have my money,” now. In June, Forbes unveiled their list of “America’s Richest Self-Made Women” for 2022, and the 34-year-old took the top spot on the list of the country’s most successful female business owners, CEOs, artists, and more.
In addition to having a net worth of $1.4 billion, naughty girl Rih-Rih is the youngest self-made billionaire in the United States. She inherits the title from 41-year-old Kim Kardashian, who placed 16th overall and has a net worth of $1.8 billion thanks to her shapewear firm, Skims, and cosmetics and fragrance company, KKW Beauty.
According to a Forbes report from August 2021, Rihanna had now surpassed Oprah Winfrey to claim the title of richest female musician in the world. According to the publication, the singer’s career in beauty and fashion is primarily to thank for her spectacular rise in net worth.
The majority of the mogul’s wealth is made up of Fenty Beauty, which Forbes has confirmed Rihanna owns 50% of. This is quite astounding considering she only founded the brand in 2017. Nevertheless, given how well-liked the avant-garde beauty line has grown, it’s not surprising.
The remainder of Rihanna’s wealth is derived from her Savage x Fenty lingerie business, her earnings as a top-charting artist, and her earnings as an actress. According to Bloomberg, the lingerie business was collaborating with consultants on an initial public offering that might value it at $3 billion or more, which was reported in March. In addition to being the only woman under 40 on this year’s list of female billionaires in the U.S., Rihanna is also the first billionaire from her native Barbados and holds a 30% stake in the lingerie line.
