He was born on October 23, 1976, and is a Canadian actor and film producer. He made his acting debut in Hillside, a Canadian adolescent serial opera.

Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is from a family of four brothers, the eldest of which he is the eldest.
His father, James Chester Reynolds, worked as a food distributor after retiring from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His mother, Tamara Lee, works in retail sales.
His two brothers, one of whom joined the RCMP after his father, are also police officers in British Columbia. He’s been performing since the age of thirteen.
In the year 2021, Reynolds appeared in two films. Patrick Hughes’ action comedy flick Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is the first.
Reynolds received his high school diploma from Kitsilano Secondary School in 1994.
Reynolds made brief television appearances before becoming disillusioned and enrolled at Kwantlen Polytechnic University at the age of 19. He met fellow actor Chris William Martin a few months later, who urged him to give it another shot and join him in Los Angeles.

Early life and private life
Reynolds began dating singer Alanis Morissette in 2002, and the two announced their engagement in June 2004.
In February 2007, representatives for the couple announced that they had reached an amicable agreement to end their engagement.
After his relationship with Morissette ended in 2007, Reynolds began dating actress Scarlett Johansson.
They announced their engagement in May 2008, and they married in a private ceremony near Tofino, British Columbia, on September 27 of that year. On December 14, 2010, they confirmed their breakup.
Reynolds filed for divorce in Los Angeles on December 23, and Johansson reacted the same day. The divorce was finalised on July 1, 2011.
