Towards the conclusion of Season 2, Andrea found the solution. When she returned home, she discovered that someone had broken in and shot at her. It seems that the show’s creators were counting on it getting renewed for a third season in order to finish the cliffhanger. But, this hasn’t occurred yet, and it’s unlikely to do so.
