Sidhu Moosewala Shot Dead: Canada-Based Gangster Goldy Brar Claims Responsibility for Killing Singer

Sidhu Moosewala Shot Dead

Sidhu Moosewala was shot and killed in the Mansa district on Sunday. He was a Congress activist and a Punjabi singer. Two other persons were hurt in the shooting, according to the reports. The tragedy occurred barely one day after the Punjab government, led by Bhagwant Mann, had removed Moosewala’s and 424 other people’s security. When Moosewala and two pals were driving to their village in Punjab, Mansa, they were attacked.

On a Congress ticket, Sidhu Moosewala ran for Mansa in the Punjab Assembly elections of 2022. Dr. Vijay Singla of the Aam Aadmi Party defeated him in the election.

Goldy Brar, a close aide of gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi and a Canadian mobster, has claimed responsibility for the death of Sidhu Moosewala.

“I was stunned to read of the assassination of young Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones. The perpetrators must be apprehended as quickly as possible. SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal tweets, “This demonstrates an abysmal breakdown of law & order in Punjab.”
