Sunburns can be treated with aloe vera, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Black tea and honey are other natural remedies that can relieve sunburn. It is also possible to cool the sunburn by taking cold showers, cold baths containing oatmeal porridge or by applying ice or frozen peas wrapped in a cloth.
