Tia Booth is expecting a child. The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star announced on Instagram that she and her fiancé, Taylor Mock, are expecting their first child. While Booth is overjoyed, she is still grieving the death of her father, who passed away in February.
“Unquestionably, this has been my most difficult season to date.” I’ve never had such a mix of pain and excitement. It’s been difficult to be appreciative of the wonderful because one of my most important individuals isn’t present. While I wish I could tell my father all the good news in person, it gives me comfort to know that he is aware of it long before I am.” “Welcoming a new small life while mourning the loss of another demonstrates that strong emotions can coexist, and I’m sure my father played a role in this.” “Happy heavenly Father’s Day to the first man I ever loved, and Happy Father’s Day to my soon-to-be forever.”
Bachelor Nation rushed to congratulate Booth, with Becca Tilley commenting, “AHHHH CONGRATULATIONS!!!!” and Anna Redman adding, “Congrats!” “Congrats babe!!!” wrote Jasmine Goode, a Bachelor, and BIP alum. Congratulations!! “I’m sure your father is ecstatic.”
After Mock proposed during a Bachelor Live On Stage concert in Atlanta, Georgia in April, Booth and her now-fiancé got engaged.
When Mock appeared on stage and dropped down on one knee, Booth exclaimed, “Are you kidding me?”
Booth was visibly surprised, taking a step back and placing her hand on her chest before hugging and accepting Mock’s proposal.
On Instagram, Booth posted a video of the moment, as well as a beaming selfie with her fiancé and engagement ring.
In my entire life, I have never felt more surprised or certain.” Tia added a caption to her Instagram picture. “Tay, my FIANCÉ!!! I adore you!”
