According to a lady, wearing a crop top and shorts to a music festival in Winnfield, Louisiana, earlier this month resulted in her receiving an indecent exposure penalty, the Shreveport Times reported.
In a TikTok video, Casey LaCaze-Lachney flaunted the purported ensemble—a black crop top and denim shorts—to her followers.
The Winnfield Police Department’s statement avoided addressing LaCaze-Lachney and instead made reference to an “unnamed person” who had posted on social media and was “bashing police officers.”
The person of interest was given a penalty in accordance with the local ordinance, the agency said, adding that three female officers had reacted to concerns about the person’s dress.

According to the article, the agency has fines for the first violation of indecent exposure that can reach $300. In a statement, the department committed not to engage in any “social media wars.”
The agency stated, “We also cannot comment on specifics of any matter under investigation or awaiting legal action.”
