The LVMH eyewear company Thélios will have a booth at the Hotel Excelsior during the Venice Film Festival as one of its official sponsors.
The luxury brand and the Biennale have agreed to a three-year partnership, making the latter the festival’s official eyewear partner.
The Thélios Suite at the Hotel Excelsior will have a showroom and an event space for press junkets for certain movies as well as “other press and industry events,” according to the partners.
On Tuesday, July 26, the Venice Film Festival will announce the cast for its 79th edition.
Alessandro Zanardo, CEO of Thélios, said, “The Venice International Film Festival is one of the most esteemed occasions in the world and we are happy to support La Biennale di Venezia, which is a strong ambassador of Italian culture at a global level. “Cinema and eyewear have always made the ideal pair, thanks to aesthetics and the love of small details that give people a perspective on the world. We couldn’t think of a greater venue for expression than this festival, which is so near to our roots in the Veneto region, given how important eyewear has been to the creation of iconic movie characters and in defining their personalities throughout cinematic history.
