ZEE5 Global, a South Asian content streaming service, has announced 11 Telugu originals. Comedies, dramas, romance stories, and thrillers are among the films that were showcased at a star-studded event in Hyderabad.
At the event, which was titled ‘Hooked,’ attendees included screenwriter and filmmaker Harish Shankar, Indo-American director Praveen Sattaru, and producer Kona Venkat.
Recce, a crime thriller starring Shiva Balaji, Sri Ram, and Dhanya Balakrishna, as well as May Nell Tank, a rom-com set in a small village and starring actor Sushanth, ATM, a heist comedy starring Subbaraju, Prudhvi, and VJ Sunny, and Aha Nee Pellanta, a romance-theme show about a man’s failed attempt to find a spouse, are
Hello World!, focused on the lives and hardships of young people on the verge of a career in Hyderabad’s burgeoning IT industry, and Mission Tashaffi, an “adrenaline-pumping” spy drama, was also on the bill. Paruvu, Bahishkarana, The Black Coat, Prema Vimanam, and Hunting of the Stars were among the other films.
ZEE5, which competes in the highly competitive Indian streaming market, has tapped the Telugu creative industry for its new slate, which comes just days after S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR was streamed for a total of one billion minutes in the first ten days after its release. Karthikeya 2 and Hanu-Man are among the titles that have been bought.
“At ZEE5 Global, we cater to numerous South Asian language-speaking groups by offering them the most diverse assortment of material in their preferred language,” Archana Anand, Chief Business Officer, ZEE5 Global, stated. The global market for Indian regional language content, particularly Telugu, has been growing in recent years.

The Broken News, a remake of the BBC drama Press starring Sonali Bendre, and the latest season of Rangbaaz were among the shows featured on ZEE5 Global.
Gaalivaana, ZEE5’s first Telugu original series, premiered last month.
